    • Inspect the DELTA 1 for loose fasteners, irregular noise, signs of wear, and leaks in the pneumatic system.

    • Clean on and around the machine. Remove any corrugate pieces or dust. Use soap and water ONLY - no harsh cleaners.

    • Drain the overflow bottle.

    • Inspect the pneumatic filter bowl and filter for debris. Replace with a clean filter if necessary.

    • Tape (DELTA 1T Only) Clean the tape knife on the Tape Head with WD-40 or a similar low-toxicity cleaner and lubricate the blade guard pad with silicone.

    • Hot Melt (DELTA 1H Only) - Remove any glue residue from the machine. Inspect the hot melt system to ensure that there are no leaks from the hoses, guns or nozzles. Tighten them if necessary.

    • Check the condition, tracking, and tension of the discharge belts on the sliding frame.

    • Thoroughly clean all sprockets and sliding components.

    • Grease guide wheels on mast with Fuchs FM Grease AX/EP 2 Food Grade Oil.

    • Grease the bearing carriages on the picker sidebelts with Fuchs FM Grease AX/EP 2 Food Grade Oil.

    • If an enclosure air cooling fan and venting system is present on the electrical control panel, remove the filter covers and wash the foam filters with soap and warm water periodically to keep them clean.

    • Timeframes are based on a DELTA 1 running 30 cycles per minute, 8 hours per day, and 22 days/month, or 3,800,000 cycles per year.

    • For the recommended schedule for replacing parts for wear, see the Maintenance Parts List & Schedule, and the Recommended Spare Parts List which are located in the Supplementary Manual.
