Introduction
Follow these pin and dome adjustment tips to ensure quality case forming with your Wexxar case former.
-
-
Use the minimum number of pins to grip the case.
-
Too many pins make it difficult to inject the case onto the pins, and to disengage the pins from the jawplates.
-
If possible, use the inner and outer-most pins that fit the case.
-
While running B Flute or thin corrugate cases, flip the pinblocks so that the pins are closer to the jawplate (the pins are not centered in the pinblock, there is a wider gap on one side, and a narrower gap on the other).
-
Make sure that the pins do not hit the shock absorber when the jaws close.
