Warning! Sharp Blade!

Using a 1/8” and 5/32” hex key, remove the six screws that secure the Side Plate.

Remove the Side Plate.

Keep Fingers Clear of Spring Pinch Points.

Remove the Main Roller Tension Spring using needle-nose pliers.
-
The spring is hooked onto the Tension Adjustment Plate and Spacer Bar.

Using a 3/16” hex key, remove the two screws that secure the Front Mount Assembly.
-
Set aside components in a safe place.
-
-
-
Using a 3/32” hex key, loosen the set screw on the locking spacers.
-
-
-
Slide off the contact roller arms.
-
Replace the Plastic Washer(s) as needed
-

-
Reverse steps to reassemble the tape head.
-
Only apply Loctite Blue 242 on the Front Mount Assembly's exterior mounting screw and the Side Plate's screws.

Do not apply Loctite on other screws.
