Introduction

Your Dekka SE V3.1 Tape Head can be loaded with a new tape roll without removing it from your machine. Two methods are used to load a new tape roll:

  • Threading: Use this method if the roll has run out of tape or is being fed for the first time. To learn more, see Threading Your DEKKA SE V3.1 Tape Head.
  • Splicing: Use this method if your tape head's roll is almost finished and is still threaded. Follow the steps below to learn more.
  1. NEVER use a blade to cut tape against the rollers.

    • Cut between the roll and the threaded tape so that tape remains threaded in the tape head feed rollers.

  2. Replace the old tape roll with a new one. Replace the old tape roll with a new one.
