Introduction
Your Dekka SE V3.1 Tape Head can be loaded with a new tape roll without removing it from your machine. Two methods are used to load a new tape roll:
- Threading: Use this method if the roll has run out of tape or is being fed for the first time. Follow the steps below to learn more.
- Splicing: Use this method if your tape head's roll is almost finished and is still threaded. To learn more, see Splicing the Tape of Your DEKKA SE V3.1 Tape Head.

WARNING! SHARP BLADE!

NEVER use a blade to cut tape against the rollers.

Thread the tape by following the guiding arrows on the tape head, then thread the tape around the Contact Roller.

Cut the threaded tape by pulling it across the tape head blade.

The Roller Arm will move in as you pull the tape across the blade.
