How to Operate the Machine (DEKKA 100)

Keep hands away from the pinch point between the top front edge of the case and Top Tapehead Holder.

Sharp cutter knives are in each tape head. Use caution whenever re‐threading tape or handling the heads.

Lockout electrical power before adjusting or servicing.

The DEKKA 100 has a power switch fitted with a trip and lockout function. This is to ensure operator safety and motor protection. The trip function is activated when the motor is overloaded, such as whenthere is a severe case jam.

To reset a tripped switch, turn the power switch to the:

1. OFF position, then the

2. ON position.

1. Turn ON your machine.
2. After the case is filled, fold down the top flaps of the case by hand.
3. Hold the top flaps closed and direct the case between the case width guides until the case is gripped by the conveyor belts.

The belts grip the case and transport it through the tape heads that tape the top and bottom flaps.
