  1. Place a stack of case blanks in the loading area.
    • Place a stack of case blanks in the loading area.

    • Check the following:

    • Case orientation: the bottom of the cases should be pointing towards the discharge end of the machine. The manufacturing joint should be face down, pointing towards the floor.

    • Gap: there should be a 1/8” gap between the cases and the side stops. Adjust the case guides if necessary.

    • Case strapping: remove before starting the machine.

    • Push the case stack against the two back plates and side post.

    • Start the case former.

    • Place a stack of case blanks on top of the blanks in the loading area.

    • Check the following:

    • Case orientation: the bottom of the cases should be pointing towards the outfeed end of the machine The manufacturing joint should be face down, pointing towards the floor.

    • Case strapping: remove before starting the machine.

    • Push the case stack against the two back plates and side post.
